Here, in alphabetical order, is my selection of airship related links. At the moment I limit it to museums and major businesses due to updating reasons. More will follow but please be patient. _Matt

Airship Heritage Trust
The definitive site on British airships.A great site on the British built airships and the Airship Heritage Trust (AHT) museum. This site is owned and maintained by the organization and is one of the very few airship only museums in the world. Definitely worth an in depth visit either on-line or in person. I was impressed enough to sign up in the membership. Don't miss this one!

Airship Image Library
Great collection of airship postcard pictures! All pictures are scans of original postcards of airships and related material. Very comprehensive.

CargoLifter
An interesting site and a good sign from the world of new airships. This is a new company based in Germany that is gearing up to build heavy lifting airships purely as cargo carriers. Very informative site and well made. It has both Deutsch and English versions. This is a very good sign of things to come! Check out the size of the sheds being built for the new ships.

DJ's Zeppelin Page
Some really wonderful, hard to find pictures here. The site also boasts some airship related documents from the Golden Age af airships. Easy to navigate and fun to look through.

Friedrichshafen Tourist Information
This is the Friedrichshafen information center on-line. They have good synopses of the area including the Zeppelin Museum and news on the NT 7. It is written in German, but if you are going there on vacation, it is worth the effort to get a translation. Friedrichshafen is not only the birthplace of the zeppelin but also one of the most beautiful places in Germany in my opinion. http://www.nlhs.com/

Navy Lakehurst Historical Society
An excellent museum site show casing the work the U.S. Navy put in to America's big airship program. The site offers some really wonderful bios' on the ships and the Air station its self. A big bonus is the GIFT SHOP included on the site. You can also become a member and help support this worthy organization and get 10% off your gift shop purchases to boot!
New England Air Museum
The New England Air Museum is located in Windsor Locks, Conn. and is a very impressive aviation spot for many reasons. Among their many rare and beautiful aircraft are some even rarer parts from the Hindenburg, including some tools and a water ballast tank. They also have a wonderful and in depth article on the Shenandoah on their site with some great pictures.

Skyship Cruise Ltd.
Ever want to ride on an actual Zeppelin? These are the folks who will be in position to make that fantasy come true. Based on a beautiful island in lake Bodensee, sight seeing flights of the area can be had in about a year's time.

The Zeppelin Museum
This is it if you're a German built airship fan! You can't get much closer to the source that this. A excellent site with some wonderful pictures and history. As an added bonus, it's now in english as well! I enjoy it and like looking through the gift shop items. I visited the museum in Friedrichshafen during the summer of 1999 and loved it. It's well worth the trip to see both the museum and some of the most beautiful country in Germany.

The Zeppelin Museum Gift Shop
Stuff? Ja, we got stuff! The Zeppelin Museum has created a wonderful new page where you can buy all sorts of Zeppelin related items. To make life even better, they offer a Deutsch and English version so you don't have to break out the translation dictionary. The only drawback is that all items are offered in European currency and the new Euro but no U.S. dollars. It would be really nice if they had more pictures of the items for sale as well.
Zeppelin GmbH
The official site for the air ship division of the Zeppelin Company. Very in depth on their new NT 7. Great pictures and great info. The site takes some time to load and is not easy to navigate but is far worth it for the information available.Another bonus is that it's offered in English.
